When do you create success as a sustainability professional? Which business processes are crucial to accelerate transition towards a futureproof, circular economy? Which skills, competences and profile are needed for professionals to be able to make this happen?
The current Covid-19 crisis affects our world and thus our profession. Most of us – as sustainability professionals – are leading their companies towards circular or other sustainable business models. At the kick-off of 5th State of the Sustainability Profession we will discuss this and other relevant learnings. Questions like: “When do you create sustainable success?” or “Which business processes are crucial to accelerate transition?” are discussed with Jacobine Das Gupta — Director Sustainability at DSM. And we dive into the Circular Economy skills, revealing the latest insights of research supported by the Goldschmeding Foundation.
The results of the yearly survey “State of the Sustainability Profession” will be shared and discussed by our peer expert panel with among others: Geanne van Arkel – Sustainable Development Accelerator and former Head of Sustainable Development Interface Europe and Dirk Bijl de Vroe – Sustainability Manager at Stedin.
Come and join the 5th edition of the ‘State of the Sustainability Profession event’, organised each year by the Sustainability University, and find out more about the state of the profession!
