Amsterdam is a lively and versatile city and has been for many centuries. On October 27, our city will have existed for 750 years. This must be celebrated on a grand scale, no less than a year from October 27. It will be a year full of great initiatives and events, also for education. Amsterdam schools can participate in this celebration by organizing something themselves or joining the wonderful activities that have already been planned. This applies to primary and secondary education. On this festive evening we will take you through the history of our city, initiatives that are planned and how you can contribute. To top it all off, we will also hand out the last cards for the education gala in June 2024. So let’s connect on a beautiful evening in the teachers’ café and be inspired to make it a fantastic birthday for our city.
Teachers and other interested parties meet and discuss while enjoying a snack and a drink. Furthermore, during the walk-in, in addition to very nice conversations, we also have cool tunes and beats from none other than DJ DansPeter (Pim Sonnenberg)!
In this program we delve into history! We will also discuss Amsterdam 750 with the panel members , because what is that and why? What initiatives are there for teachers, Amsterdam schools and where can you register? There will of course also be room for questions and reactions from the audience during the program. Finally, we end the evening with a quiz, because how well do you actually know your city?
