Even though we’ve managed to adapt and re-invent ourselves – last week we celebrated one year of Livecasts! – the pandemic hit the core of our Pakhuis de Zwijger business model. This has forced us to re-evaluate our operations in order for the business model to become more resilient to future change, preferably using sustainable and circular principles. Within the European CLIC-project and in collaboration with the TU Eindhoven we developed a Circular Recovery and Resilience Action Plan for Pakhuis de Zwijger and we are pleased to share the report with you. CLIC
The report was developed within the European Union’s Horizon 2020 CLIC-project (Circular models Leveraging Investments in Cultural heritage adaptive reuse). This project focuses on new ways to use cultural heritage (like the former cooling warehouse of Pakhuis de Zwijger becoming a cultural platform), developing business models with circular principles. With the global Covid-19 pandemic a new light was shed on the project and Pakhuis de Zwijger focused mainly on the resilience of its business model.

Even though this report is a conclusion of Pakhuis de Zwijger’s work on CLIC, the action plan is a living document, and it will be adapted and updated according to Pakhuis de Zwijger’s plans and needs.
